Joseph Lynn Friend was born October 9, 1859, and died November
21, 1933, aged 74 years, one month and 12 days. His home was in
the Swallow Falls section of the county. He was a member of the
Methodist church, having joined when a young man. He is survived
by one sister, Miss Annie Friend, and a half sister, Mrs. Mary
Lewis. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. C. Skipper on
November 23 with interment in the Bray cemetery.

Mary Lewis. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Lewis, wife of Henry Lewis, born
at Sang Run, April 2, 1844. Died at the home of Marshall Friend,
Feb. 9, 1936. Surviving is a half-sister Miss Anna Friend.
Miss Anna Friend, daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Markley Friend,
Born March 10, 1857, died Jan. 19, 1940 at the home of her cousin
Leroy Friend near Glendale Bridge.

Cousins are her nearest surviving relatives.

Buried in Bray Cemetery.
