MRS. IDA B. FRIEND

Mrs. Ida Belle Glotfelty Friend, aged 91, died Tuesday, January 17, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Friend, in Friendsville. Her husband, Leslie E. Friend, preceded her in death.

She was a daughter of the late Nimrod and Mary Magdalene Glotfelty.

Surviving are three sons, Ernest, Lawrence and Emmett Friend, all of Friendsville; a sister Mrs. Eva Cottrill, Wolf Summit, W. Va.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Friend was a life-long member of the Methodist church at Friendsville.

Funeral services are to be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her former residence, now Tritts Funeral home. Rev. Hiram Short, Methodist pastor, will officiate and interment will be in the Savage Addition cemetery.
